This Privacy Policy explains what information Apex Airwaves (“we”, “us”) collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to www.apexairwaves.com and the Apex Airwaves service.
Information we collect
- Account information — when you register: your email, name, and a hashed password. Broadcasters may provide profile and payout details.
- Listening & usage data — stations played, session start/stop, duration, device and browser (user agent), and approximate location (country). We derive a one-way hash of your IP address for abuse-prevention and analytics; we do not store your raw IP.
- Payment information — processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Cookies & local storage — used to keep you signed in, remember preferences (e.g. selected station, quality), and operate core features.
How we use information
- To provide, secure, and improve the Service and your listening experience.
- To process subscriptions and broadcaster payouts.
- To measure audience and report aggregate analytics to station owners.
- To prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
How we share information
We share information with service providers that operate the platform on our behalf — payments, content delivery, hosting, and broadcast infrastructure — under agreements that limit their use of it. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the Service and its users. We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Aggregate, de-identified analytics may be retained longer.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To make a request, email privacy@apexairwaves.com. We will respond as required by applicable law.
Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
International transfers
We operate globally and may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
